Maison Petit Jour is a brand established in 2017, owned by the French company Petit Jour. The company has been designing, as well as distributing high-quality children's accessories inspired by characters from popular children's books for more than 40 years. We are mainly talking about the Little Prince or Peppa Pig. The company's eagerness to develop has led to the introduction of original designs in addition to the well-known and well-loved ones, which have stolen the hearts of both children and their parents around the world.

History of the Maison Petit Jour brand

The Petit Jour company was founded by Thomas Letmann in 1970. Initially, it only distributed games and toys, which were imported from the northern part of Europe. Initially an extremely intimate team, it grew considerably in the 1980s, forcing a move from the small back room of a Parisian toy store to a much larger space. By this time, the company had already begun to develop its own series of toys, with characters from books - Little Prince, Mimi Mouse or Elmer - as the main characters. During this time, the company's trademark was also created.

In 1996, the company again changed its headquarters to a much more modern and customized space, which was located a few dozen kilometers from Paris. In 2005, the company began working closely with exceptional artists and gradually began to expand its offerings.

An exceptional gift for the company's 40th birthday was the creation of an entirely new brand, which is Maison Petit Jour. Illustrations for the brand's products are created in collaboration with a team of illustrators from the United States and Scandinavian countries.
