The first hospital layette (the one for the baby) is usually things to dress, change and wrap the baby. It is recommended that the hospital bag include kits for 2-3 days. When it comes to clothes, the basic layette for a newborn baby is the clothing needed for two layers, for example, underpants + a pajama with feet. In addition, caps and socks. For the hospital, three such sets are enough. A good blanket is a must. After months spent in warm fetal waters, the outside world seems a pretty chilly place. Daytime naps, riding in the gondola of the stroller, being carried in your arms - there are really few activities in the first weeks of a toddler's life that can do without a blanket (and initially a blanket + cone). Preparing to leave the hospital, or what to take in the hospital bag?

Remember that mom's body doesn't return to its pre-pregnancy size right away, and the clothing you prepare should be comfortable and non-pressing. What to pack for the hospital depending on the season, that is, a layette for a newborn in spring, summer, autumn and winter

Summer layettes for babies should consist of light, airy clothes. However, don't give up the beanie, or initially rely on an openwork blanket. As we have already mentioned in the mother's belly is warm. Remember that if the temperature outside is lower than 36.6-38 degrees, it means that the baby has lived at a higher temperature for the last 9 months.

The winter clothing list for a newborn should also include a coverall or sleeping bag. If you're going home by car, make sure the one you choose allows you to properly fasten the seat belts in the car seat. Also, sleeping bags for strollers and car seats often have special holes for pulling the belts, so that the newborn in the car travels not only comfortably, but also safely.

What doesn't a newborn need at any time of the year? It's toys (there's still time for that) and... shoes! You can successfully replace them with a pair of socks put under or on top of the paci, and then hide the little feet under the blanket or in the leg of the suit.
