Maileg is a Danish brand dedicated to creating unique and adorable toys for children. It was founded in 1999 by Dorthe and Erik Mailil, who were married. From the combination of their last name and the addition of the word "leg", which means game, the name of the brand was created, which still delights little ones and their parents around the world today.

Dorthe graduated from the prestigious Danish School of Design in 1996, and also studied at L'ecole D'art de Marseille in Paris. This allowed her to develop her passion, which began at a young age. Creating her own brand, in which she is a designer, was a dream come true for her, and the knowledge she gained at university is the basis for the nostalgic details that are undoubtedly the hallmark of Maileg products. All of Maileg's children's toys and all of its accessories are designed just by Dorthe Mailil. For more than 20 years, the toys have delighted not only with their high-quality workmanship, but above all with their charming and sweet design. Modern Scandinavian design and details refined to the smallest detail make Maileg products arouse great enthusiasm among the youngest and make the brand's toys their true friends.
