This family-owned company started in 1993. It was the year of Bjork's "Debut," Pearl Jam released "Vs." at the time, and Lenny Kravitz was asking from the radio airwaves: "Are You Gonna Go My Way?". That's some time ago now, isn't it? Bajo's founder - architect and set designer Wojciech Bajor - instead of setting out in Lenny's footsteps, he headed for the woods. He located his toy factory in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, and the beautiful neighborhood still reminds Bajo specialists of the brand's main idea every day. For Bajo, eco-friendly toys are not just a slogan that sounds nice in advertisements. It's a commitment. That's why Bajo brand toys are made from wood sourced from local farms practicing sustainable forest management in accordance with European standards. And the material (no matter how it is processed - using innovative techniques or traditionally, by hand) is always treated with respect and used to the last. At Bajo, the wood is covered only with ecological paints and natural oils . Sometimes it is very colorful, but even then some element of the toy remains unpainted so that the child can look at the grain and feel the natural warmth of the wood.
