Babaryba

The Babaryba family company (the name refers to the Warsaw mermaid) is formed by Marta and Marek, who have been on the market for more than ten years. During this time they have published dozens of items that steal the hearts of the youngest, stimulate their imagination and sensitivity. The creators have combined four disciplines in their books for children and younger teenagers: Polish studies, pedagogy, environmental studies and art history. The editions are extraordinarily richly illustrated, making them enjoyable for young readers and their parents.

It all started with the wonderful childhood books of the publishing house's creators. First came Wanda Chotomska's poem "Pale Chicken" with phenomenal illustrations by Edward Lutczyn. This was followed by a charming family story "Knob Treasure" by Zbigniew Lengren. Babariba's bestseller became an extraordinary edition of Herve Tullet's "Press Me," which has become the publisher's trademark.The interactive item does not bore the youngest, but actually urges them to action, engaging them to actively participate in reading. Marta and Marek invited Herve Tullet to Poland, who willingly accompanied them in organized workshops for children.

Each title is reviewed by Marta and Mark's children, as well as the kids of their friends and acquaintances, before being published. The books transmit a lot of values to the youngest: they bring children and parents together, teach and entertain, make them aware, educate and allow girls and boys to find their interests.

Babarba wants children to associate books positively and attribute to them joy and shared moments with their parents.
