During pregnancy, it's a good idea to read some of the latest parentingand parenting publications. It is important to pay attention to the most up-to-date knowledge and use this time to be really well-prepared, as there may not be time for that later. A child needs first and foremost parents and closeness and attention, and at a later stage play.

Recently there has been a return to the roots with, among other things, "closeness parenting," a term coined by William and Martha Sears and the idea of parenting through play. Be with your child whole and entire. The relationship you create will pay off for many years to come. Nevertheless, a few things are necessary for us to welcome the baby into the world in a good way.

Which diapers will be best?

Disposable diapers contain a lot of plastic and are unfriendly to the environment, while causing flare-ups in toddlers. By not buying such, you will reduce the risk of irritation of the toddler's skin and save a lot of money and natural resources. Now reusable diapers are not boring white sheets! There is quite a choice of neutral colors and patterns.

Particularly when you're at home, it's best to use natural reusable diapers as much as possible. Breathable ones such as cotton muslin or tetra will take care of baby's bottom. In airy muslin ones, such as those from the company Bim.Blathe baby's skin will breathe and won't burn. It's a good idea to have several diaper changes so that you can quickly change the baby if necessary. We recommend, for example,cotton in aesthetic patterns. Baby clothes - which to buy?

There are plenty of clothes, but the kid is gaining even tens of grams a day and after a few wearings the clothes will already have to wait for another baby. It is then worth passing them on to another mom.

In online advice books there are suggestions to buy three pieces of each type, that is, a romper, a long-sleeved and a short-sleeved bodysuit, as well as two sweaters and two pairs of shorts. To begin with, two sets of each will suffice, so that the toddler can be quickly changed and the rest washed. Speaking of washing, the most important thing is to wash them well in gentle baby detergents. Each garment, whether used or new, must be washed thoroughly to remove residual fabric dyes, dust or other possible allergens.

Natural oils work best. Almond oil is one of the most gentle and versatile oils for the whole family and the delicate skin of the newborn. Of course, natural and preferably organic. Let's try to reduce the number of cosmetics to a minimum, because the delicate skin of a toddler can react badly even to the most delicate specifics. Clean water is important, as well as the addition of an agent, which can be added drop by drop to the bath or under the diaper. Any oil is an emollient, so the almond oil in question will work even in this function. An interesting fact is that Greek women use olive oil for everything. For newborn and baby care as well. Therefore, it is worth learning how to massage the baby and buy special gentle brushes with which we can stimulate circulation and the sense of touch of the baby.
